Kayla Eason is a writer and photographer based in San Diego, CA.
She holds an MFA in Creative Writing, Fiction, from San Francisco State University, where she taught undergraduate courses as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Lecturer. Her writing has appeared in The Hunger Journal, Shirley Magazine, Dream Pop Press, The Birds We Piled Loosely, Vagabond City Literary Journal, The Elephants, the Redlands Review, and others. Recently, her novella, Mia, was longlisted for the Dzanc Fiction Prize. Currently, she's working on both a short story collection and a novel.
Kayla grew up in Angels Camp--a small town in Northern California, a very beautiful place.
